  • Package PT01 - Parent Taught Full

    Parent Taught Full Driver's Education Program (Permit and all drives).

     After purchase please read the FULL welcome email. 

    • The parent taught option is the fastest option.
    • This program includes everything needed to complete the full driver's education program by a parent, guardian, or designated person appointed by the parent or guardian. 
    • The online course includes videos, downloadable documents, PowerPoint slides, and quizzes.
    • The state permit exam with the state certificate is sent electronically, and can be located under the transcripts tab of your student account. 
    • Behind-the-wheel lessons and how-to videos help guide parents and students along the parent-taught program. 
    • Please be advised once you complete your 6 month waiting period of holding your permit and the completion of your 30 hour log and 14 hour log please  email your logs in so we can make your DE-964 (certificate of completion) for your road test.

    • This program includes everything a parent needs to complete the entire driver's education program. 
    • The online course includes videos, downloadable documents, PowerPoint slides, and quizzes.
    • The state permit exam with the state certificate is sent electronically and can be located under the transcripts tab of your student account
    • Take the state road test with A+ Driving Academy in our state approved vehicle.

Steps to Getting Your Driver's License

Step 1. Take the 32-hour class and DPS written exam online.

Step 2. Get your instruction permit at DPS.

Step 3. Complete behind-the-wheel lessons hours.

Step 4. Practice driving with your parents/guardian and complete the 30 hour log.  

Step 5. On or after your 16th birthday, if you've completed all your driving lessons and had a valid Texas permit for six months, you can take private lessons and or the road test at our driving school with our vehicles.
